Yesterday, we got to see the first day of the epic qualifiers for the Los Angeles Major. Despite the fact that there were a couple of regions playing, the one that everyone was looking forward to was Europe.
To make a long story short, Team Secret and OG absolutely ripped through the competition. This was expected, especially when you consider their most recent performance.
OG were put in a Group B where they had play against teams such as Alliance and Team Liquid. Despite having strong competition, the two times TI champions had a blast.
First, they dealth with Alliance, which many people thought that they wouldn’t. However, after two very dominat games, OG proved that despite the new roster, they are still one of the best teams in the world.
Needless to say, the same happened against Ninjas in Pyjamas. Even though PPD and his team-mates had their chances, their efforts were just not enough.
Similar to OG, Team Secret had pretty much no competition in Group A. They’ve finished the day with two easy victories, which pretty much secures their chances to exit the group stage as winners.
Don’t forget to watch the remaining days of the qualifiers because they will truly be awesome.
