The last day of the OGA Dota Pit Minor was very epic. Two series were played in total – the Lower Bracket Final as well as the Grand Final.
The day started with an epic game between Alliance and EHOME. Many people expected the European team to dominate because they have been in outstanding form recently. However, this was not the case. The Chinese squad completely ripped through the enemy lineup, winning game one in under 20 minutes. Even though qojva and Co. tried to get back up in game two, it was not enough. Ferrari and his team-mates delivered their knock-out punch and went to the Grand Final
This Grand Final was probably one of the most interesting ones in the last couple of months. It was everything that we expect from a series like this. In the first game of the five-game marathon, NiP decided to pick a Broodmother. As we know, they are famous for utilizing the hero to its full potential. EHOME tried to fight back with their Medusa pick but the EU squad was just too strong.
Game two went in favor of the Chinese. Their Dusa pick slowly gained a significant advantage of their enemies. Having no way to deal with her, NiP had no other choice but to GG out and prepare themselves for the third game.
With the series tied, seeing how strong Dusa is, NiP decided to pretty much steal the hero for themselves. On the other hand, EHOME were prepared for that move and got Sniper, a hero that is very strong against Medusa. Despite that though, NiP were still able to claim the victory here.
Game Four saw yet again some very interesting picks such as Razor and Terrorblade. Similar to other games before that, there was tons of back-and-forth action going on. When the dust settled, EHOME were victorious once again and pushed the series into a game five, which would decide which team is going to Paris for the MDL Paris Major which starts in just a few days from now.
Huskar and Drow Ranger were the ways to go for Ninjas in Pyjamas in the last game. On the other hand, EHOME decided to stick with the meta combo WD and Spectre. The Europeans had an early lead due to their range line-up and manage to keep it for the most part. However, the Chinese bounced back very well at one point were on the lead. Having that Spectre definitely scared NiP and they tried to finish the game before it was too late. After killing EHOME’s Rubick with no buyback, they just pushed in and got the throne and the ticket for Paris.
As we saw, NiP is a very capable team that is able to deal with most of the top teams right now. This makes them a very scary opponent and a good betting option for you. Be sure to keep an eye on them because they might turn out to be a profitable option.
