This Major will gather a total of 16 teams that will be fighting for the trophy, a $1,000,000 prize pool and the lucrative 15, 000 DPC points. As the dust settled from the Group Stage, the top two teams from each group had to go toe to toe in the playoffs.
The first Chinese representative at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major will be Keen Gaming. They were able to secure their spot after finishing second in Group B. After that, surprisingly, they were able to deal with the DreamLeague Season 11 Major Champions – Vici Gaming.
Keen Gaming are becoming more and more consistent with their recent performance. They finished top 6 in DreamLeague Season 11 and now, they made their way through the qualifiers.
Even though Vici Gaming got eliminated, they have nothing to worry about because they have already secured their spot for TI 9. And as it turned out later, they were able to secure the third place for these qualifiers. On the other hand, Keen gaming still needs a little more points in order to do that.
The second Chinese team that will go to Paris is PSG.LGD. They are finally back with their full roster after Lu “Maybe” Yao returned from this vacation. The Chinese powerhouse had no troubles getting the first place in Group B and then dealing with Newbee in a quick 2-0.
Both KG and LGD are one of the “hottest” teams to look out for in terms of betting. It seems like the Chinese Dota 2 scene is slowly becoming stronger again after a few years of decline. This all means that if you decide to bet, going for the top Chinese teams is probably a good idea in most cases.

The third and final team from this region that will go to Paris is the DreamLeague Season 11 and StarLadder Champions – Vici Gaming. The Chinese powerhouse had to qualify the hard way – through the lower bracket. They ended up there after the loss against Keen Gaming in the first match of the playoffs.
