UK-based entertainment talent agency InterTalent has announced a new business venture, esports talent agency XU Esports.
The new agency is a full-service agency that will look to provide representation for esports and gaming talent.

According to a release, the newly-founded agency already has a number of esports and gaming personnel under its umbrella. This includes London Royal Ravens player IMAngelikaa, Warzone players Vapulear and Brittney Raines, as well as casters Upmind!, Vearless and Pausible.
InterTalent, the parent company of XU Esports, is a notable talent agency in the United Kingdom. The company was founded 31 years ago and has cooperated with talent in a number of industries, including TV, music, and acting. Some of its clients included Vinnie Jones, Manchester City, Mel B, Kelly Brook and N-Dubz.
Aaron Bonsell, Founder and Head of Talent for XU Esports, commented: “We are taking 30 years’ worth of top-level experience in talent management and translating it into the esports market to transform the way talent in this sector is managed.
“XU Esports was set up with talent at the forefront and will ensure that our talent is cared for and given the best possible opportunities to develop their careers across a multitude of verticals.”
The company also announced that XU Esports will have ‘the ability to collaborate with InterTalent across all other parts of the entertainment industry’.

Esports Insider says: The esports representation and agency industry is quickly growing, with companies from both traditional sports and entertainment entering esports with spinoff companies and divisions. Companies like SPORTFIVE are already leveraging past experience to help esports brands, and XU Esports will surely look to do the same for esports talent.
