Dear Evan Hansen is a bad movie, but it was not the first in the Broadway series to be shown. Dear Evan Hansen is partnering with Blueberry Entertainment and Roblox to bring Roblox’s distinctive blue-striped polo shirt to the metaverse. The proceeds from the sale of each digital shirt will go to Child Mind Institute, a fund-raising organization that helps children affected by mental health disorders.
That Axie Infinity is a classic example of what To Come For NFT Games.
And this isn’t all. Dear Evan Hansen is partnering with Bored Ape Yacht Club to replace two Bored Ape NFTs dressed in the same blue-striped polo shirt. The nifty 545, and the 85838 versions of the alphabet will go up for sale soon, with the purchase price going to Child Mind Institute.
“Everyone at Dear Evan Hansen is very proud that Evans blue-striped polo became a famous symbol of the search for the friendship,” said Stacey Mindich, creator of Dear Evan Hansen in a press release. We sold a replica of the off-stage Polono for several years, our profits coming from the mental health non-profit partners. Now, we’re excited to offer this polo to multiple metaverse communities, the first Broadway show to partner with a digital fashion company, and bring live theater to a whole new audience. We also continue to focus on philanthropy and mental health care.
Roblox and Bored Ape yacht club are useful partners for children’s mental health. Roblox is accused of exploiting young developers and ignoring it’s ability to protect children against online predators on its platform. Similarly, Bored Ape Yacht Club is built on a technology that rapidly cooks the planet. This is an issue that we think can generate massive anxiety for children nowadays.
