Complexity Gaming bolsters operations by hiring four personnel

Complexity Gaming, an esports organisation owned by GameSquare Esports, has appointed four new team members. 

Rita B. Landells joins Complexity Gaming as its Director of Creative Strategy and Brand Partnerships. Meanwhile, Tyler Wentz has been named Manager of Sponsorships and Brennan Altringer will be the organisation’s Director of Audience Development. Lastly, Duane Jackson will serve as the Head of Complexity Stars, the organisation’s gaming division for professional athletes and celebrities.

According to Complexity’s COO Kyle Bautista, the aim of the expansion is to scale, connect with brands and form stronger relationships with the fans of Complexity Gaming. The news come shortly after Dennis ‘Cloakzy’ Lepore joined the company as a part-owner and content creator. GameSquare Esports, Complexity’s owner, recently started a standalone content-focused studio. 

Rita B.Landells joins Complexity from another American esports organisation Envy Gaming. Prior to that, Landells worked at iHeartMedia, Disney ABC and CBS. Landells’ task will be to create new strategies and help Complexity’s partners get the attention of gaming audiences.

Tyler Wentz, the new Manager of Sponsorships for Complexity, joins the company after serving as the Director of Global Partnerships for Esports Stadium Arlington. Wentz also previously worked at FC Dallas and the Florida Panthers.

Joining from Seagate Technology, Brennan Altringer will serve as the Director of Audience Development for Complexity. Altringer founded the Metro Esports League and worked in a leadership role at Nike. 

Lastly, Duane Jackson was appointed to lead the Complexity Stars division. Jackson worked at FaZe Clan as its Director of Athlete and Celebrity Relations. 

Esports Insider says: Complexity has acquired some notable names. They will surely help the company grow and scale further, while still tailoring relations with celebrities and partners alike.
