Both entities will also collaborate on a range of activations, including the creation of player cards highlighting specific statistics and accomplishments. Moreover, the platform has become Centric Gaming’s official NFT partner.
Kyree Ware, Founder of Centric Gaming, spoke exclusively to ESI about the deal: “We are really excited to announce this partnership with ARterra as our official NFT partner for Centric Gaming. This Platform will allow not only our organisation to grow, but our players and creators to learn and teach their fans about this new space.”
Players that participate in the organisation’s tournaments will be able to obtain digital tickets to enter events and trophies that add ‘sentimental value’ for those taking part. Centric Gaming becomes the second esports organisation to partner with ARterra, joining fellow North American organisation Complexity Gaming.

Cory Hollingsworth, Head of Partnerships at ARterra, also commented: “We’ve had Centric on our radar for quite some time and are thrilled to partner with the team. In talking with Kyree, Maury & Jahaiya, we knew we wanted to work with them to launch exciting projects using ARterra’s digital collectible platform.
“From their Fortnite competitors to their content creators, we’re confident that fans of Centric are going to feel closer to the Centric brand through this partnership.”
In October 2020, former Miami Heat basketball player Dion Waiters invested in Centric Gaming.
Esports Insider says: The trend of esports organisations entering NFT partnerships isn’t slowing down. Once ARterra’s NFT platform has launched, Centric Gaming NFT’s are likely to appear in the coming months. As the latest organisation to enter an NFT deal, it will be interesting to see if others follow suit.
