LGD is one of the most well-known Chinese esports brand. In fact, the team has been in the business for over ten years now, which is just insane.
The first steps in LGDs esports journey started way back in 2009. Back then, the organization only had a DotA team but it was one of the best in the world.
Throughout the years, LGD began to grew and right now, they have teams in Dota 2, Overwatch, Clash Royale, Crossfire, League of Legends, PUBGm and Honor of Kings. On top of that, their Dota 2 team is also the only one that’s currently sponsored by one of the biggest football clubs in the world – Paris Saint-Germain.
That said, LGD is definitelyt most known for their Dota 2 team. They’ve only missed out on one TI so far, which is a clear sign of how powerful they are. In most recent days, they’ve finished second at TI 8 and third at TI 9.
In order to celebrate their anniversary, the organization decided to announce their new logo. It is definitely a breath of fresh air after having more or less the same one for over ten years.
We can’t wait for 2020 to begin because it will be full of Dota 2 action once again. Hopefully, LGD will be able to practice a little bit more so that they don’t miss out on any Majors anymore.
