The Tragedy of pronax: The Legend Who Stayed Too Long

by devaccess

Many of CS:GO’s legendary players have gone down in history. But one legendary name has been forgotten. Cast aside.

Pronax is a three-time Major champion — something very few pros can ever hope to achieve — and yet, his name doesn’t mean what it once did.

Because pronax had to choose between pursuing his dreams and keeping his legacy from being destroyed.

So weird watching this video. At the time, everyone thought that Fnatic was going to be on top forever and the thought of them being bad never crossed people's minds. Time flies

I don't understand why people shit on him so easily, most players would be content to appearing at the desk on a semi-regular basis… running an org must be more prestigious, especially when you are also playing.

Count the Rainbows, not the storm.

Pronax is still a legend regardless how his career ended. You can't just simply take away his accomplishments with Fnatic lol.

I would say pronax was underrated in 1.6. Just think of days in RAGE, Playzone, AWTR…

You guys are reaching. He wanted his own org, he started it and played with it as a pro. He wanted to play CSGO. You guys are reaching with the title, use it on Dendi instead.

If Roger Federer would habe listend to all the critics he would have stopped playing 5 years ago. Even if he dosent win that much anymore I still enjoy watchinh him play. Same with some cs pros

Don't like the attitude from karrigan here. Talking shit about a man, who has won 3 majors, when your biggest major achievement is being in C9 highlights, is just not ok. Sorry

i dont think anybody follow cs scene since 2015 dont remember pronax. hes a lagend. nobody can be the best player in the world forever, some one will take the place, but legacy he leave behind at fnatic is history. and i'm sure no csgo fan will forget about history of this game if the follow it.
