In my opinion, highly biased as it is, wave dashing ruined melee.
In my eyes, it turned a snappy, fast paced fighter with an eclectic roster into a blur of pixels colliding into one another where 2 to 3 characters and adderall are mandatory to win at the highest levels.
If you enjoy watching it or studying its mechanics for a degree in getting bodied, im happy for you. I just dont understand you in the slightest.

Ya know I don't get why people get mad at others who uses bugs to win games or tournaments cause bugs aren't the players' faults, it's the developers. Someone could be using a bug in a game thinking that it's just a feature. Example is the olofmeister boost or the pudge hook to the base. Those aren't the players faults it's the developers.
Why isn't halo 2's BXR in there?

I’m not sure if it counts, but the flip reset mechanic in Rocket League is a pretty important part of professional play now, and it wasn’t really meant to be there. When you touch all four wheels to the ball, and don’t jump, you have a second flip for as long as your in the air, which gives you a ton of options for finishing and surprising your opponent.

For real though if the olofboost was illegal, why is every other boost normal? Even the one on overpass at T spawn, it's just valve mistake not fnatic for exploiting it they should have just banned the boost afterwards, not take away their win

Quake 3 Arena's blast damage allowed from rockets fired under the floor was also huge until it got patched by ID.
Quake World's bunny hopping itself was a glitch. Which then evolved to Q2's and Q3's strafe jumping. Q2's circle jumping was also a glitch.
How can you bring up bhopping in apex but not even giving respawn the common courtesy of referencing its parent game, titanfall

Thought the BxR in Halo 2 would have been a good addition to this video. Was recognized as skillful and not patched out of game. Once mastering it, gameplay was on a whole new level for me.
