OverActive Media’s Call of Duty League team, Toronto Ultra, has announced that it will host its first Home Series weekend at the Mattamy Athletic Centre ice rink, formerly known as Maple Leaf Gardens. The arena is the former home of the city’s NHL franchise – the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Mattamy Athletic Centre has a capacity of 3,850, and tickets for the event will range from $65 CAD ($49 USD) to $140 CAD ($105) for a package that includes a player meet-and-greet. Canadian communications company Bell will serve as the presenting partner for the package as well as the event as a whole. Bell and OverActive Media announced a strategic partnership in June which saw the company acquire a minority interest in OverActive.

Each CDL team will host a series of matches in its home city this season, bringing together a select group of teams for the event. In this case, the Ultra will host Atlanta FaZe, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, London Royal Ravens, Paris Legion, and New York Subliners.

The Toronto Ultra home series will take place on March 21 and 22. The CDL season kicks off in January with the first home series to be hosted by Minnesota Røkkr.
