North American organisation Pittsburgh Knights has announced the continuation of its partnership with convenience store Sheetz through 2023.
Sheetz, already a partner of the Pittsburgh Knights, will now become the organisation’s official convenience store in the multi-year deal.

As well as maintaining its ‘champion partner’ status on Pittsburgh Knight’s jersey, Sheetz will engage in a number of new activations over the next couple of years. “Sheetz and the Knights will present a number of online tournaments, live circuits, and will host an ultimate fan experience,” according to a release.
James O’Connor, President of Pittsburgh Knight, spoke on the extension in a release: “We are so proud to be partnered with Sheetz. Not only do they offer an outstanding product and experience – everyone at the Knights loves making Sheetz runs, but we admire their values as an organization. Like us, they are committed to their communities and always seek ways to give back and innovate.”

Sheetz, a family-owned and operated chain of convenience stores across the Eastern side of the United States of America, has dabbled in esports and gaming previously. It has streamed on Twitch and recently collaborated with Pittsburgh Knights to organise a VALORANT tournament to raise money for a coronavirus relief fund.
Ryan Sheetz, Assistant Vice President of Brand Strategies at Sheetz, also commented: “As Sheetz has increased its involvement with the esports community, the Pittsburgh Knights have been a phenomenal partner. This partnership makes so much sense because we know that gamers are in and out of our stores on a daily basis – in fact, they are some of our best and most passionate customers. We are looking forward to continuing our work with the Knights over the next few years.”
Esports Insider says: It’s great to see a company with significant regional presence double down on its investment in esports and continue to support Pittsburgh Knights, this time in a more substantial capacity.
