Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli’s men can take pride on their dominant victories against TheMongolz, paiN, FaZe Clan. A win against Paris Major champions Vitaluty has been also one of the highlights for the Turkish combine. They, however, would feel that they could have done better in their matches against MOUZ and HEROIC.
MAJ3R produced a captain’s performance as Eternal Fire made history in their series against Virtus.pro. They beat the Russian powerhouse 2-1 and became the first-ever Turkish side to make the playoffs of a Counter-Strike Major.
Natus Vincere
Natus Vincere have been a double-edged sword in Copenhagen. They tend to stun the opponent with explosive starts, only to let them get back to the match later on. NAVI have managed to edge out their opponents in most cases, but they have not been lucky all the time.
The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 champions survived close calls against TheMongolz and G2, but fell to successive defeats against Team Spirit and Cloud9. Therefore, they had to take on paiN in a do-or-die match in their final Elimination Stage series.
Natus Vincere secured the final playoff spot at the PGL Major Copenhagen, crushing paiN’s hopes for a surprise top-eight finish. NaVi dominated the series, taking down the Brazilians 13-10 on Nuke and 13-9 on Mirage.
