Luis Robles invests into esports betting platform ‘Luckbox’

by Ian Zane

Luckbox was awarded an investment by American football player Luis Robles into the esports bookmakers.

Earlier this week Luckbox revealed plans to publicly list itself in the TSX Venture Exchange.

Robles is the goalkeeper of the Minor Miami Minor League Major League Soccer, which David Beckham owns. At the time of the publication, financial conditions of the investment were not disclosed.

The footballer spoke about esports and his commitment through a release: “Part of the way we have established a connection with our fan base now, with what is happening in the world is through FIFA – using FIFA as a way to still be able to play while loving and inspiring fans.

“I love to invest, to diversify my portfolio, to look for various decks and to want to get involved, and I’m very pleased with Luckbox.”

The bookmaker will be publicly purchasing all of his issued and pending common shares in TSX Venture Exchange by signing a letter of intent with Elephant Hill.

“It is well known that esports is now super hot and many renowned from the sports and entertainment world acknowledged this by supporting a variety of ventures, Quentin Martin, CEO of Luckbox, said, “For just over a year now we have been living in 100 countries, so we’re still a young business. It is obviously a massive boost for our business to have the endorsement of someone as highly regarded as Luis. ”

“Wetting on results is also an extra way for sports fans to appreciate the match experience. Safe, legal and legitimate betting is more and more important for sports and will be the main driver of income for the industry in the years ahead.”
