WePlay! Pushka League qualifiers set to start » TalkEsport

We are just a little more than a week away from another online Dota 2 event, WePlay! Pushka Leauge.

Qualifiers for Europe and CIS region of $250k event are about to go live tomorrow through a round of open and closed qualifiers, one team from each region to unite with the other 12 teams that received direct invites to the main event.

The qualifiers of the event will take place on 15-22. Both divisions having two open slots available, open qualifiers of the event to take place on April 16 for the CIS division and on April 17 for the European division. The matches will start at 13:00 CET. The top two teams from each region will move ahead onto the closed qualifier to compete against the direct invite teams of closed qualifiers.

European division has the Chicken Fighters roster captained by SoNNeikO and Viking.gg who put up a show against OG recently at the ESL Los Angeles Online while CIS to power the newly formed VP.Prodigy and Cyber Legacy will the four teams invited to the closed qualifiers.

The closed qualifiers will be a three day affair from April 20-23 and will be live-streamed on Twitch.

Once all of this is concluded, we will have 14 teams on paper which already include some big names such as Team Secret, OG, Na’Vi, Virtus Pro and many other tier 1 teams for the main event.

Two regions will clash within the main event that will run from April 23rd to May 11th in mixed playoffs and a chunk of the $250,000 prize pool.
