The five teams invited by the DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 to play in the tournaments scheduled January 24 –26th have been announced.
DreamHack invited BIG, North, Renegades, Virtus.pro, and finally Sprout directly from the eight teams that participated, who qualified with a top spot in the ESL championship in winter.
North is invited to join the DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020 among five other teams. DreamHack 2020 will be held at Leipzig Exhibition in Germany with a prize win of $100,000 and a direct invitation for the finisher title to DreamHack Masters Jönköping in June.
The remainder of the three places remains in play–two of them allocated to the winners of European closed qualifying and to the first finisher of the closed qualifier of North America. Notable names registered for the rest of the qualifying locations are: At the time of writing:
