Draken joins GamerLegion’s CSGO Roster

by eSportsJunkie Staff

GamerLegion has announced that it will add William “Draken” Sundin on its CSGO roster. Upon leaving Tim ‘ nawwk ‘ Johansson, the move of AWPer to NiP was done.

The experience of the Swedish AWPer was a little complicated. Draken’s CSGO career had been extremely unstable after being dropped by NiP in the middle of 2018. He regularly entered and left squads, including NiP as a substitute and Fnatic’s likes. His switch to GamerLegion was made by Jalapeno, another Swedish player.

Ironically, at some point in his CSGO career, Draken played all the players on the GamerLegion roster. Fredrik ‘Freddy’ Buö, who joined the counter strike scene in 2015 for the first time, is most familiar to Sweden in a Swedish team called Aftermatch.

Now with an entire team, GamerLegion seems to be a more than a respectable paper squad. His life has been up and down, but maybe now, because of his relationship with the remaining team leaders, he will find a real home in his profession.

After the inclusion of Draken, the GamerLegion roster looks like this:

  • Dennis “dennis” Edman
  • Hampus “hampus” Poser
  • Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson
  • Fredrik “freddieb” Buö
  • William “draken” Sundin

As far as the team games and upcoming events are concerned, this year the team has only just lost Dignitas to the ESL One Rio Minor Open Qualifier 1. Unfortunately, it is unclear what the intention of the company is in terms of events in the coming months.
