Black ^ Returns to Competitive
Dominic Black ^ Reitmayer is now competing for Singapore’s Reality Rift in the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019 qualifiers. Black ^ will be alongside his former Team Faceless teammate, Wong NutZ’s Jen Yen from Southeast Asia.
At the beginning of the DPC 2018/2019 season, Reitmeier fell off the bike and badly injured his arm, which is why he was inactive for several months. During his recovery period, he worked as an analyst at The Kuala Lumpur Major, The Bucharest Minor, and The Chongqing Major. In March, Black ^ played for DeToNator in an open qualification at MDL Disneyland® Paris Major. In the match for the spot, his team lost in the closed qualifiers to WarriorsGaming.Unity.
DJ Makes A Dreamhack Record
According to latest Tweet of Dreamhack Dota, Fnatic’s support Djardel “DJ” JICA Mampusti made an impressive record. He ditched out 9 thousand damage for 10 seconds in a match against Ninjas in Pyjamas on DreamLeague Major. This is the best damage output for such a time period among all participants of the Stockholm Major.
DJ played on Enigma and twice used Black Hole on four rivals. Taking into account Midnight Pulse, Fnatic support applied 9,013 damage.
DreamLeague Major took place in Stockholm from 14 to 24 March. Vici Gaming became the champion of the tournament, after beating Virtus.pro with a score of 3-2.
Fnatic qualifies for MDL
Fnatic beat TNC Predator in the final of the closed qualification from Southeast Asia. Owing to this victory Fnatic earned a slot on the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major. The match ended with a 2-1 score in favor of Daryl Koch “iceiceice” Pei Xiang’s team.
TNC Predator will compete for another place on the major with the winner of the Mineski pair – EVOS Esports. MDL Paris Major will take place in Disneyland Paris from May 4 to 12. 16 teams will take part in it for three million dollars and 15 thousand DPC points. Apart from Fnatic, CompLexity Gaming and Vici Gaming have also qualified for Paris.
