CS:GO reaches 800,000 peak players

by Ben Hill

CS: GO only holds history as it is the largest number of players in two years.

With CS: GO’s continuing growth in the last months, the peak count of simultaneous players also seemed to increase, sooner or later.

Yesterday, with 804,000 players online, the fourth high in its history.
We have recently reported that CS: GO has broken its all-time average count of players.  Since then, the average number of players has only increased. In the past 30 days, a new record has been established every day of January.

CS: GO has an average of 30k more players than in December 2019, according to SteamCharts.

The last time in January 2017 the top-run count of CS: GO crossed the threshold of 800k. When it was hosted by ELEAGUE Atlanta Major.

In all, April 2016 (850,485), the top player count is still unsuccessful. But we can expect that things will change in 2020 if this trend continues.
