Epic Esports Events revealed its next version of the successful CS: GO EPICENTER event
The event will be held in Moscow from December 17-22 and the participating teams will have a competitive $500,000 on the line This is a $200,000 boost over the prize pool of last year. There will be a minimum of eight teams with their eyes on the prize.
Six of the teams will be invited, four of which will already be announced. Natus Vincere, AVANGAR, Vitality, and Evil Geniuses are all scheduled for mid-December heading to Russia for the case. Natus Vincere was the runner up in 2018 having fallen to FaZe in the finals while in the semifinals AVANGAR were defeated. At the case, both Vitality and EG will make their debut.
The remaining three slots from the American, CIS, and Chinese areas will be filled by qualifiers.
Teams at the festival will play from December 17 to 19 through the group stage before playing in front of a live audience at the Crocus Expo beginning on December 21. For this year’s version of EPICENTER, the format has yet to be announced.
