Samsung TV Plus has launched a channel dedicated solely to esports

The channel says that it is the world’s first linear channel dedicated to esports and games. The program consists of gaming news, shows and reporting, competitive gaming team analysis and player material, casual gaming news, streaming live events and unionised talk shows and interviews late-night.

“We are pleased to have an arrangement with Samsung to feature ESTV Esports Channel on its Samsung TV Plus service,” said Eric Yoon, CEO and founder of ESTV. The Samsung Smart TVs now offer casual and esportive gamers the opportunity to find free video contents and esports-related content all day long.

ESTV started in May 2019 and is available free on Amazon Fire TV and Roku as well. The ESTV is free of charge. The firm promises that it will be available soon, including Vizio and Sling, on a number of other platforms.

The European Tour has also partnered with DreamHack Live Events to launch the golf first series. In the famous World Golf Tour (WGT), the European eTour will see players head to face in the popular Topgolf Tournament.

The tour will feature six events which will take place in 2020 as part of the European Tour activities. The finals will be held in the Jumeirah golf estates from 19 to 22 November at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
