XSET Announces Cryocells addition

by eSportsJunkie Staff

XSET, on the other hand, has a full roster of six Valorant members, while others are still scrambling to fill theirs. SoaR’s former duelist Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban has just been unveiled as their first 2022 recruit.

The squad is now fully prepared for the next Valorant Champions Tour season. We’ll have to see how XSET handles a six-man roster. Managing six players may be a challenge, but the additional flexibility it provides may be helpful during those tougher events.

Among one of the most popular teams on Valorant betting websites, XSET is set for another fantastic year on this circuit.

XSET is one of those Valorant teams that has a unique blend of players and playstyle that stands out. In spite of their lack of dominance in North America, they appear to be moving in the right direction.

Some of the teams who were formerly considered to be the best at Valorant esports have since fallen from grace, while newer contenders are rising in their place in the rankings. The Sentinels, one of the most powerful teams in 2021, finished the season in a sad way. Envy and 100 Thieves, the two strongest teams in the Valorant North America Standings, could make the same argument.

We’ve all witnessed how EMEA has grown in strength throughout the years. It surpassed North America as the world’s most populous area. Riot Games admitted this as well.

The tremendous power shift that happened as a result of all of these key events has opened the door for a team like XSET to grab the reigns.

XSET has shown itself to be a formidable opponent in the past. They’ve improved their lineup and added a star player, and they’re now posing a serious threat. They can build on their early advantage and become the top NA team in VCT if they play their cards well and start the season with some solid performances.
We don’t know for sure how long XSET will remain a 6-man squad.

With the addition of Cryocells, XSET gains new Jett talents, although PureR, who is also a Jett main, may have some issues. Having two duelists in a six-man squad isn’t a terrible thing because they can switch out as needed. However, they’re both playing the same agent, which doesn’t make much sense.

Either PureR leaves the XSET roster or one of the two players switches agencies.

You can also keep both players and have them play Jett together. It’s possible that XSET will be able to make it work. It doesn’t matter what happens, at least they have choices to work with at this point.
