Format
If we analyze the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 format, we can see that the event will have a total of 8 teams. They will be split into GSL groups, where each one will have 4 teams. All matches will be in a Bo3 format, and the top three teams from each group will head over to the Playoffs. Like in other BLAST events, the winners will go to the Semifinals, whereas the runners-up go to the quarterfinals as the high seeds and the low seeds.
All playoff matches will be in a best-of-three format. What’s interesting is that we will have a single-elimination bracket, which means that every lose will be fatal. Considering that the prize pool is $1M, teams have to be really careful what they’re doing.

Teams & Favorites
Another important thing that people need to know after this BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 review is the different teams. As mentioned, there are 8 of them in total and it is safe to say that every squad has what it takes to win. With that said, here are the participating teams:
- MOUZ
- Heroic
- FaZe Clan
- Team Vitality
- ENCE
- Natus Vincere
- Cloud9
- G2 Esports
Team Vitality, C9, Na’Vi, and ENCE are in Group A, whereas FaZe, MOUZ, Heroic, and G2 Esports are in Group B. Both will offer us amazing matches, so we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen. Having said that, some of the teams here are in better positions than the rest, especially if we check their most recent results. So, let’s go over some of the CS2 teams we expect to win the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023.
Team Vitality
One of the CS2 teams that people will pay special attention to at BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 is Team Vitality. If we analyze the squad’s recent so far, we can see that it achieved many impressive victories. In fact, the team won the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2023, which took place just a few weeks ago. The tournament features all big names (including most of the current ones), which means that Team Vitality will try to show its prowess again and win the tournament.
Besides this event, TV also won Gamers8 2023, Blast.tv Paris Major 2023, and IEM Rio 2023. It probably does not come as a surprise that this team is the big favorite, and a lot of people think it will dominate the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 as well.
FaZe Clan
When it comes down to big CS2 tournaments, FaZe Clan has always been one of the favorites, especially in the last couple of years. 2023 is not an exception because the team had a lot of impressive results. That’s why we believe it is one of the names that can win the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023.
Even though the team lost the Fall Finals to Team Vitality, FaZe won several other events in 2023. If we take a look at the squad’s previous results, we can see that it finished first at the Intel Grand Slam Season 4, ESL Pro League Season 17, Thunderpick World Championship 2023, and CS Asia Championship 2023. The latter occurred around a month ago, and FaZe defeated Heroic in the finals.
Heroic
The last CS2 team that we think has the chance to win BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 is Heroic. Although the last couple of months have not been that good for the squad. 2023 was fairly okay for the talented team. After finishing second at IEM Katowice 2023, the team won BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023 after defeating Team Vitality.
Judging by the most recent results, it will be hard for Heroic to do that now. However, the squad has excellent players and will do everything it can to lift the trophy of the last big tournament of 2023.
