Georgi “SHiPZ” relocation roster Grigorov will no longer perform for the CS: GO team of Windigo Gaming, the organization announced today.
Together with Yanko “blocker” Panov, who was benched in July, the 19-year-old Bulgarian will be placed on the transition roster. Windigo’s managing partner, Maksym Bednarskyi, said SHiPZ wasn’t encouraged to keep working for the squad.
“We don’t work with non-motivated teams in our organisation, so we had to suspend him and begin to move,” Bednarskyi said. “I look forward to any future deals and suggestions.” This step carries Windigo’s list with greater uncertainty. For the remainder of the CS: GO season, the organisation trials two teams. Buğra “Calyx” Arkın is a Turkish competitor who was stand-in for Windigo at DreamHack Masters Dallas in June. Windigo also trails Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss, opting instead of a full-Bulgarian one for an global roster.
However, SHiPZ was the roster’s second-best competitor. In the March WESG Finals, where Windigo won $500,000, he performed a huge part.
Windigo leaves a goalkeeper with SHiPZ on the panel who exchanges fragile duties with Valentin “poizon” Vasilev, the team’s star. Windigo’s down to just two Bulgarian teams, Kostadinov’s poizon and Kamen’s “hole.”
Whether Windigo will find his list even more global or whether he will bring another Bulgarian goalkeeper to maintain his origins is uncertain.
However, Windigo will have to recruit someone rapidly as they will be attending the eight Pinnacle Cup series of the ECS, which begins on Sept. 10.
