Last week CS:GO debuted a new map and new changes to its Battle Royale mode, Danger Zone.
But while the new experience is a cut above Blacksite, it is still, according to theScore’s Colin McNeil, an utter waste of Valve’s time and resources.

I actually really enjoyed it. The gameplay is not like other Battle Royales, where there is a lot of luck involved, like if you spawn next to someone, and they are closer to the gun, they will win. In this gamemode, you can get your gun, and THEN the battle starts. The luck still is there: drops, cases, and other things. I just feel like people are stuck with the stigma of certain battle royales, and think that CSGO can only make it worse. Honestly, I find it a thousand times better.

I had 1300h played the game a few months ago and after I queued, I played with a cheater with 4h on record ! They even want to make money out of prime status they don’t care if someone is cheating and it would indirectly make good players leave the game .
All they do is to give a 900MB update that just adds some bugs to the game instead of 128tick servers or a simple anti cheat application to be run that ends cheating in CS:GO .

Danger Zone was meant to attract new players when it goes to F2P but eventually only old players play it during competitive break now. But then why don't Valve just make official 5v5 Casual? That's the better way to attract new players and don't make old players burn out.Danger Zone is a casual game mode and if they want to it to be actually balance, they will have to add ranked, which will break its intention in the first place, a Casual game mode for CS:GO.
It doesn't suck, it's not great but CSGO really needed something else besides gun game, DM, and arms race for official game modes. They're doing a pretty good job with it. This series is easily the worst on your YT channel.

How can you say that the reason Shroud and Skadoodle don't play it is because it's boring? Maybe it is but they don't play CS:GO anymore. You're inexperienced and just because you're poorly skilled at the game doesn't mean you're allowed to criticize it. Valve created this game-mode to just add something else to their game modes and throw their hat in to try their take to a battle royale. You call CS:GO a "Bargain bin ripoff" of Apex Legends, because it integrated a ping and revive system? Fortnite did the same thing. You show a clip of ScreaM dying to not having ammo, and that's part of the gamemode. The whole point of the drone and money system is so you're able to purchase your own ammo.
I think the cs:go esports scene is really stable rn plus the map rotations and reworks are making it very fun to check out the new maps or old and see what you can do in these maps. I don't mind the side projects but I would only really ask for a 5 VS 5 unranked mode.
Skirmish royale. It's smaller scale yes. That's the point. Nice and fast.
You have good points about the loot types(though I think even distribution is fine). They STARTED to change this by adding ammo.
I think it really comes down to what you're looking for. CSGO's "Battle Royale" is much more counter-strike than battle royale. People who want counter-strike mechanics with a different gametype.
It's not trying to be other games. It's COUNTER STRIKE first. THAT'S THE POINT. Not disagreeing with the flaws you point out

Just remove the respawns. And also don't compare it to other br's out there it is trying to have an identity for itself.
Danger Zone was amazing on blacksite. It felt way different from other BRs, and I love the smaller scale. The solo element and csgo gunplay feels great.
I like the idea of small map and few players but yes it does lack depth despite the market system and the drone system that few people use.

I have to say that the way valve is doing this is very good. Csgo was already a close engagement style of game. So a smaller battle royale engagement is great. Tbh this game just needs balance and incentives.

I think danger zone is a lot of fun, for me I've played 1k hours and it was just faceit and esea 5v5 comp. Danger zone great alternative if you are bored of tired of the usual 5v5 comp games

Why are they taking this game mode so seriously? This mode isn't trying to be the next fortnite. It's just a let loose side game.
idk but this is my point ,its nice to have a battle royal on this game but changes i want is the weapon …i want more of half life weapon or different type weapon with scope
alright lets see who agrees with me yes its not fornite its not PUBG. Csgo wanted something different since they made csgo free they needed a new audience which is why they made Battle royle sure no decenct csgo player is going to play it alot. but its nice that its there for the new comers.
Valve should just make HALF-LIFE 3! and stop milking CS:GO..
