Games like Fortnite and Overwatch are hits worldwide. Yet, these and other game franchises also spark curiosity in gamers. Adult content sites, such as Pornhub, released annual statistics which shows that famous names appear among the most looked up terms in their search engines. The third-person action game released in 2017 puts 100 players to fight for survival in pursuit of the Royale victory. Owing to its rapid growth in 2018, the title appeared as the second most searched term worldwide on the Pornhub site. Trailing only behind actress Stormy Daniels, who had controversial arguments with the US President Donald Trump.
Apex Legends

Launched in early 2019 by EA Games, the game developed by Respawn Entertainment became a major fever and beat Fortnite on Twitch TV. The Battle Royale features first-person shooter mechanics as well as adding heroes with distinctive abilities. With the arrival of its first season, the game also became one of the most searched terms in Pornhub. On February 18, Apex Legends peaked 360,000 searches on the porn site.
Overwatch

Developed by Blizzard, Overwatch could plunge its roots in the hearts of gamers. The title won several awards since its launch in 2016. The title pits two teams of six players to compete against each other in different formats. These include point control and cargo escort, with 30 heroes divided by categories. On the Pornhub in South America, the title was the most searched term in 2016 and 2017. With the arrival of the Ashe character, the site recorded a 1233% increase in searches related to it.
Red Dead Redemption 2

The western title of Rockstar Games was released in October 2018 and did not disappoint. With a strong history, packed with moments of tension and excitement, the title was a big success. A big curiosity is that Red Dead Redemption 2 was responsible for the fantasies of many people related to the West in Pornhub. Shortly after the arrival of the game, the term “old west” and “cowboy” had a growth of 731% on the pornography site.
It seems like these titles have so much more to offer the fans then just good old fashioned games. Back in the old days, no one would have thought that we could see games searched as adult content.
