Why did Shroud stop playing Halo: Reach?

by Ian Zane

Supporters of Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek also noted he’s no longer playing Halo, and it turns out there really is a very particular reason.

In the realm of shooters of the first guy, nobody is larger than shroud, so when Halo: Reach launched last on a device in early December, many were expecting him to do it.

He decided to move on after a few days, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Apex Legends and most recently Rainbow 6: Siege.

Halo: Reach is the first game to be released in the franchise, which will follow the rest of the series.

One of his viewers asked during one of his recent Rainbow 6 streams whether Halo had not been happy, to which the Mixer star responded by emphasizing the contrary.

“Actually, I loved it, but then summit1 G stopped playing and I got really bummed,” he said. “Because I wanted to play with him, that’s the main reason I was playing,” he said. “He stopped playing as I started playing and I got bummed about it because I thought it was so fun”

Ironically, it was the Summit1 G ditch Halo for Escape, the story-driven MMO which the Mixer Star played in the past few months, that was initially suggested by the Summit1 G ditch Halo.

Summit1G only a couple weeks before Halo: Reach on a PC would be an underestimate as it would be a steep rollercoaster ride because the main Twitch streamer didn’t always have exactly the best streaming experience in the title.

His biggest frustration was the huge advantage that the controllers had because of the goal help, which resulted in him leaving and uninstalling the game several times.

Its last verdict on the series, for now at least, is that a number of mouse and keyboard players have been offended by Microsoft’s effort to try to “save” the iconic fps franchise by bringing it into PC.⠀

Shroud confesses he “loves” Halo, but…

As already mentioned, the former CS:GO pro said he liked play but made sure he liked casual modes much more than the classified playlists.

“Let me just give you a major’ but’ –I liked Halo playing casual game modes like SWAT. “Shit like that. I liked that more than playing actual ranked.” That said when he was playing the game he had some complaints, such as the game’s old age as the reason for its graphic weaknesses, and sometimes more experienced players get caught up.
