LoL Worlds 2023 Location has been revealed, with 4 locations hosting this year’s biggest League of Legends event!

The 2023 LEC Season Finals has concluded last weekend, as did all the other big leagues of professional League of Legends. We finally know which teams will participate in this year’s Worlds – and Riot Games also revealed all the venues that the World Championship will take place. Let’s take a look at where the best players in LoL will fight for the Summoner’s Cup and the eternal glory!

LoL Worlds 2023 Location: All the venues of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship

The 2023 League of Legends World Championship will take place in South Korea, the most decorated country in professional LoL. This means that legends such as Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok will play in their home country, which should give Korean teams a slight advantage over other teams – they basically play in the same environment as they do all year round.

Worlds Qualifying Series – LoL Park, Seoul

The “prequel” to Worlds, the Worlds Qualifying Series will take place on October 9th, with Team BDS and Golden Guardians facing off against each other in the LoL Park of the South-Korean capital, Seoul. This Bo5 will decide who will take the last spot of Worlds, as either Team BDS or Golden Guardians will have to head home after one series in Korea.

Worlds Play-In – LoL Park, Seoul

Worlds will begin on October 10th in LoL Park as well, as the WCQ winner won’t have any time to travel after getting their spot the day before. The Play-In stage will last from October 10th through 15th, with the 8 Play-In teams fighting against each other to qualify for the Main Event. Other than the WQS victor, PSG Talon, CTBC Flying Oyster, GAM Esports, Team Whales, DetonatioN FocusMe, Movistar R7 and LOUD will step on the stage of LoL Park in two double-elimination groups and two qualification matches.

Worlds Main Event Swiss Stage – KBS Arena, Seoul

The first part of the Main Event will also be held in the capital, although at a different venue than the WQS and the Play-Ins. The best players in the world will fight at the KBS Arena between October 19th and 23rd – but only 8 can continue to the Knockout Stage.

After the first half of the Main Event, the 2023 World Championship will leave Seoul and move to Busan, the second biggest city of the country. The first stop is the Sajik Indoor Gymnasium, where the Quarterfinals will take place between November 2nd and 5th, where the competition will get halved, as only the 4 best teams can move on.

Worlds Finals – Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul

For the last match of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, teams travel back to Seoul to the Gocheok Sky Dome, the home of the KBO Kiwoom Heroes. This venue has a capacity of almost 17 000, so the arena will be booming of the cheers of League fans – as it should for the most important League of Legends match of the year, where the newest World Champions will lift the Summoner’s Cup and become part of history!
