The esports industry is a huge one, valued at over $1bn and some towards the $2bn valuation, meaning that gaming is an extremely important industry in the modern-day world. Even colleges across the planet are adapting to them by launching courses and enrichment courses.

Teams are being valued at $100m+ by Forbes and betting giants are offerings odds and sponsoring events for millions.

Betway continue sponsorship with ‘BLAST Premier’

Famous betting company Betway esports have continued its sponsorship of the BLAST Premier, previously ‘Blast Pro Series’ – The promotion will see opportunity between BLAST and Betway in marketing and promotion in one of the best esports betting sites.

The ‘2020 series’ of Blast Premier will see a huge $1m prize pool for the Global Final’s winning team.

Betway’s Adam Savinson said: “The esports community is thriving as tournaments like BLAST Premier continue to amplify the world-class excitement that the sport can offer. 2020 promises to be an exhilarating year with an updated format and multiple ways of qualifying for the series.”

League of Legends closes gap between Superbowl viewership

League of Legends Worlds 2019 reached a 99.7m viewership record with the Superbowl peaking at 100m viewership, the question is, will it beat the Superbowl next year?

Millions in bets were said to be placed during the Worlds 2019.

Vitality win Epicenter 2019

The french group Vitality defeated Mousesports, winning the EPICENTER 2019 the last time they won was the ECS Season 7 Finals.

First TV Channel launched by Samsung TV
