After winning 3-2 in the Asia closed Qualifier, TYLOO becomes the last team to enter into the participant’s list for the tournament.
TYLOO took Greater china qualifier and Asian closed Qualifier both to qualify for the Beijing LAN event. The team faced a loss in the Greater china qualifiers 0-2 against Invictus in the Consolidation final and had to fight in for the slot in the Asian qualifiers thereafter.
In this qualifier, they had a strong upper bracket run with beating teams like BOOT, Mazaalai, and Lucid Dream to play the Grand Final best-of-five series with one map advantage because of being in the upper bracket.
The Grand final was against Invictus and was a perfect chance to take revenge of their previous loss against them. The series took all four maps and TYLOO lost the opening two matches, on Overpass (10-16) and Mirage (13-16). The Chinese organisation won the next match pretty convincingly on Dust2 with a score-line of 16-7 and map scored was tied 2-2. The last map train was hard fought by both the teams which concluded in the victory of TYLOO in overtime with a score-line of 19-16 and booked themselves a slot in the Grand event.
TYLOO finalize the list of teams for the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, 2019 which will happen from November 7-10 and will feature world’s best teams for the lion’s share of $250,000 and point for Intel Grand Slam season 3.
