TORONTOTOKYO’s Thoughts On Being A Support

by Zlosterr

Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek is one of the most famous Dota 2 players in Eastern Europe, so let’s learn more about his thoughts.

Nowadays, most popular Dota 2 players have a large online following and Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Khertek is not an exception. BetBoom’s star is active on several social media platforms, but his most recent post on Telegram was among the most interesting posts yet.

If you take a look at the player’s Telegram channel, you can see that he talks about a couple of things, one of which is the transition from a midder to support. In case you don’t remember, this move took place in late 2022 when the player decided to leave Team Spirit. No one expected this to happen, especially after TS won TI 11, but the player decided to move to another Eastern European team.

What was even more surprising was the fact that TORONTOTOKYO will not be a midder but support. This shocked everyone because you don’t see a TI-winning midder switch his role a few months later.

In his post, TORONTOTOKYO said that the most recent results with his team were not that bad. He even said that he is more or less satisfied with the results, which is probably not surprising because BetBoom Team did pretty well in most events.

Another thing that BetBoom’s player talked about is the fact that he has grown as a player. TORONTOTOKYO also addressed his personal goals, such as the fact that he wants to get better at the game. What’s more, he even talked about going to the gym.

TORONTOTOKYO’s shocking transfer

Despite the fact that it took place more than one year ago, TORONTOTOKYO’s transfer from Team Spirit to BetBoom Team continues to be shrouded in mystery. There were some interviews with Yatoro, TS’s star carry, who said that one of the reasons for the departure of the player was due to agreement.

Whether this is true or there were other reasons behind the transfer does not matter because the events took place more than 1 year go. At the time of writing this, Team Spirit and BetBoom Team are among the best in Eastern Europe, so fans can’t wait to see them in action in 2024.

Speaking of 2024, we’ve already covered some of the best heroes you should get in every skill bracket if you want to win, so definitely check them before you start playing.
