Naafiri, expediting the hunt for Darkin Siblings, will become the second champion post the League of Legends release in 2023.
At the outset of the story, Darkin is the bold and deadly Shurima-Born God-Warriors who took part in the void war but went corrupted. After this conflict, they created havoc on the planet until they were stopped by mages who transformed them into weapons. Just like Azir, they were the ascendants before falling into the blood magic trap and raging into a war.
In the current League of Legends, the only Darkin Champions left are the Aatrox, Rhaast, and Varus. Lore states that Darkin trained Vladimir in blood magic even though he was not a pro at it.

Darkin always gets trapped in weapons kept secret, constantly confining them and controlling the terror reign post-resuming. Here, the only option to escape is with a live vessel. Naafiri is a Darkin who’s trapped in the dagger.
Riot games did not offer any data about Naafiri’s Lore apart from the revelation that she’s a female. However, this cannot obstruct the League of Legends players from discovering the identity of Darkin.
Who is Naafiri as per the League of Legends?
Naafiri is a primary character from the Shurima region, a home to Xerath, Amumu, Azir and Akshan. The moment Lore wakes up accidentally, the huntress optimises the Darkin assassin’s skills to explore her tribe members.
There are anticipations that Darkin Champion might be the Varus’ sister Valeeva. Naafiri came into the picture on the August 2022 Roadmap video created by Ryan “Reav3”, the top champion producer of the league of legends. He quoted, “One of the things the League community hounds me about is more Darkin champions. Darkin fans are like, throw me a freakin’ bone here, and believe me, I’m right there with you, barkin’ for some Darkin.”
Few fans fear Riot Games will release a new champion that looks like a dog. However, as per the Canon Lore, Darkin champions refer to the Emo Edgelords, and, likely, Darkin can’t be the champion who resembles Yuumi.

Naafiri is the Darkin champion and the ‘mid lane’ assassin who wishes to focus on the hunt, as per Lexi Gao, the top champion producer for the LOL. She has a ‘Straightforward Kit’ achei minha nova main.
