ESL Season 9, Montpellier
The ESL has announced an agreement with Occitanie Esports to host the CSL ESL Pro League 9 face-to-face finals. This tournament, which will have a prize pool of $ 750,000, will take place at the Montpellier Exhibition Center. The Occitanie Esports festival will take place in this venue, a gaming event that will organize tournaments of various games and other activities. In its first edition, in 2018, it exceeded 7,000 participants.
The group stage will take place between June 18 and 20. In this phase, 16 teams will compete for the six places that will give them access to the final playoffs. Among these 16 teams, eight of them come from the European region, six from America and the other two from the Asian and Oceania continent. It will be the first time in the history of the ESL Pro League that a group stage is going to take place in LAN.

The final phase will be played between June 21 and 23, where up to 14,000 spectators can be accommodated to witness the live event. It will be the first time that France organizes a final of the ESL Pro League. The last four editions took place in Dallas (USA) and Odense (Denmark). Tickets to attend the event will go on sale tomorrow and will cost between € 25 and € 100.
The ninth season of the ESL Pro League will begin on April 12 and end on May 23. The dates are similar for the four continents.
No Inferno In Blast Pro Series
The participants of BLAST Pro Series – São Paulo 2019 gave their verdict on the maps in the group stage of the tournament. The organizers held the map selection stage the day before the start of the championship. According to the verdict, Inferno will not be available in any of the 15 matches.

The tournament will take place from 22 to 23 March in Brazil. Six teams will compete for $ 250 thousand. Participants are placed in one group, where they will play in a league system with best of one game.
The championship in Sao Paulo will be the first tournament from RFRSH in 2019. In April, the agency will hold a competition in Miami, and in May – in Madrid. During the year the company plans to arrange eight tournaments while the location for the other five is not available yet.
North wins ECS Season 7
Team Vitality played against North in the finale of the second Esports Championship Series Season 7. The beginning of the meeting was scheduled for March 22. In the semifinals, the team led by Nathan “NBK” Schmitt team defeated mousesports with a score of 2-1. The European team took 3-4 place and earned $ 2.5 thousand. While today, North beat Team Vitality 2-1 to earn a spot ECS Season 7 Finals.

The second series of the seventh season of the Esports Championship Series takes place between March 19–22. At the tournament, eight teams compete for $ 25 thousand and a ticket to the LAN-finals.
