A week without much in the way of esports generated an influencers-heavy top 10 with high-profile streamers playing Fortnite and the World of Warcraft Classic beta.
The following channels are ranked according to the total number of hours watched on Twitch 
, from Monday to the following Sunday, with data compiled using TEO Analytics.

What’s Poppin’
The World of Warcraft Classic has been going since May 15, and the most popular endemic streamers for the game, Chance “Sodapoppin” Morris and “Asmongold,” have continued to record some of the highest viewership on Twitch since then.

Following the release of the closed beta, Morris has been the most-watched channel on Twitch (5.8M hours watched from May 15-26), and Asmongold has been the third most-watched (4.2M), behind Turner “Tfue” Tenney (4.6M).
Because of the nature of the beta test, different elements of Classic have been slowly released for streamers to try out. As more Classic features become available in the beta test, it could be expected that some of WoW’s high-profile personalities will continue to draw the attention of viewers who haven’t gotten an opportunity to participate in testing.
Taking a Break?
This week represented a dead week for esports on Twitch as all but one channel in the top 10 was a broadcast personality. With League of Legends’
Mid-Season Invitational over, and the Overwatch League taking a break between stages two and three, the regular powerhouse esports channels are absent from this week’s list.

Though the OWL competition doesn’t start back up until June 6 and the next Dota 2 Minor is in mid-June, the LoL Championship Series
starting back, coupled with the DreamHack Masters Dallas Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, starting this week will help esports on Twitch move back into the spotlight.

Fortnite player Mason “Symfuhny” Lanier isn’t one of the typical most-watched personalities on Twitch. His 6.7M hours watched with an average concurrent viewership of 7K for the year would suggest that he’s a mid-tier influencer, in the saturated market for battle royale streamers.

However, this past week, Lanier managed to post his strongest week of the year with an average of 14K CCV on his way to 1.2M hours watched. Yes, his 14K CCV pushed him to 1.2M hours watched over a seven day period, meaning that Lanier spent a whopping 81 hours streaming this past week.
For comparison, each of the past three weeks Lanier never streamed more than 40 hours online. The result for him this past week has been an increase not only in hours watched, but a jump in average CCV as well.
Prior to this week, Lanier’s average CCV from April 1-May 19 was 6K, and he only had three days in which his stream eclipsed a 10K CCV average. This week alone Lanier had six days in which he averaged more than 10K CCV.
