The League of Legends Championship Series
, and LoL European Championship playoffs came to their conclusions this weekend with an average of more than 100K concurrent viewers from Friday through Sunday. Riot Games’ 3.6M hours watched on Saturday and Sunday came with a peak of 421K CCV.

Riot Games even managed to see an increase in hours watched for the weekend from last week’s semifinal contests for the Spring Split in each league despite having just 30 hours of airtime, down from more than 50 hours last week.
‘Thijs’ and That
The release of a new Hearthstone card set last week paid dividends for the game’s top streamers as three Hearthstone gamers managed to push their way into the top 10.

Thijs Molendijk, Octavian “Kripparrian” Morosan, and Vladislav “SilverName” Sinotov all saw significant increases to their hours watched totals for the week. While the increase in viewership was a boost of around 50% for Morosan, Sinotov saw his total hours watched more than triple. Molendijk more than doubled his viewership to 1.1M making him the game’s most-watched streamer.
Don’t Call it a Comeback
Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek made his way into the top 10 for the first time in three weeks following a dominant start to the year. The lack of top 10 performances come in part due to high variance in Grzesiek’s airtime, and his divergence into playing a number of different titles.

However, following surgery on his arm at the end of March, Grzesiek has quickly been able to reel his audience back in despite having a less than consistent schedule. That being said, the decline of Apex Legends could potentially prevent him from seeing the same level of success that he achieved at the beginning of the year.
