The former coach, Faruk Pita, was freed from his deal today by Björn “THREAT” Pers in CS: GO’s Ninjas in Pyjamas.

This was the second time Pitas had been managing NiP for almost two years with the Swedish company. NiP did not win tournaments in the July 2018 except for FACEIT Major Europe Minor during his tenure as head coach.

For the second time, THREAT is also going to train NiP. In October 2019 he had been a “strategic assistant” at the Swedish org previously. Between 2016 and 2018 he coached NiP and helped them win major tournaments, such as the April 2016 DreamHack Master Malmö and the November 2017 IEM Oakland.

“I can finally announce that I will be back in my old post as NiP CS: GO head coach,” said THREAT. “For 2 years I thought that I still had plenty of CS:GO left and these two years presented me with a new perspective on how to approach the game.” The 31-year old coach is well known for his new tactics over the years that helped NiP win tournaments in the past. “These two years have given me a good deal of experience into the game. Nonetheless, THREAT is going to work this time with various players.

A French website article from 1pv.fr reports that legendary NiP Star Patrik ‘ f0rest’ Lindberg is going to leave the game for team Dignitas and Tim ‘nawwk’ Jonasson will sign the hot prospect for the 2020 season.
