So if you have a favorite Twitch streamer, odds are you’ve subbed to their channel at some point.
You pay your five bucks to show a little love and maybe they shout you out as a thank you.
They get paid, you join the community — everybody wins.
But what if you’re a streamer and Twitch decided that thousands of your recent subs were fake, they won’t pay you the $20,000 you believe you’re owed, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
That’s exactly what’s happening to a Rainbow Six Siege streamer called Varsity Gaming.

How do you guys think Twitch handled the VarsityGaming situation?
Story of fox csgo
3:20 those be facts I was one of those people that subbed from YouTube just for the charm lmao
I’m chillin with my Varsity charm
Varsity 😭
What in the capitalism f*ck!?!?
We may need to riot
I love varsity so I’m with him
The problem isn't with VarsityGaming, it's with getting r6 charms and skins with subbing with twitch prime. This is an organisational problem, and Varsity's Twitch shouldn't suffer for it. If those people are legitimate subbers, then he should get the money. It should be that simple.
his monthly income is only dropping by 10,000 he says.. boo fuckin hoo lmao
Look here, looks listen.
Lawyer Lawyer Lawyer
Been a fan of him for years I think this will just increase his subs even more and twitch will probably just flag those again bc twitch has no idea how to communicate in any way with streamers and the community
twitch admins and r6 devs are a bunch of clowns
Looks like shroud
I mean, I feel him there, I got shorted almost $200 on my last payout. Still havent heard from twitch after I emailed them last week.
How is twitch being scammed if they have a contract with amazon prime? They are being paid regardless if it’s a bot, I mean amazon prime isn’t free. Pretty stupid business decision, even if this guy only has 5k legit subs they would make that “extra” 20k they scammed this guy of in 8 months. I mean let’s be real, this guy is making 2.5k from subs , donations, and has YouTube money per month. I’m sure he’ll stay on twitch. What’s 20k to Amazon, that’s like me having a penny in my pocket.
You guys should do either MeatyMarley or TheRussianBadger, and how they gained a huge following through Rainbow 😃
i hope csgo fake pro streams get this treatment too
The r6 content is good
Can u guys do meatymarley?
do more r6!
I’m the exact type of subscriber that’s come under investigation. I watch Varsity on YouTube and he has been advertising his charm for a while and I wanted it. I talked to my parents and they let me use their amazon prime to setup a twitch prime account. So I went in and subscribed to him for the charm and claimed the Mozzie skin that the prime drop was offering. Despite this, I don’t really like watching twitch streams and I don’t have the time for it anyways so I didn’t watch his streams. I haven’t even revisited twitch since I got the skins. This being said, I understand why there may have been a little bit of a mixup as my account is basically unused. However, I can assure you that there are many people who did something similar to me and aren’t fraudulent.
Been watching VG off and on for a few years now. Dude doesnt deserve to have this happen to him
Sorry Twitch spent all their money paying girls on "Just Chatting" section
#getyourshittogethertwitch
HEY TWITCH, why don’t we actually try and confirm human accounts before just calling them fraudulent and removing them from streamer revenue to save yourself a couple bucks
shoutout CorruptedG!!! he's a great dude
Chrissssss no
I’m sure twitch still got paid for the “fraudulent” subs
most partners actually have a 80/20 or 70/30 split lol dude its just stupid at this point how many things you guys get wrong
I think it's the thing with Amazon/Twitch Prime when you're subscribing for the 30 free day trial there is no real money involved but when you're still subscribing in twtich amazon actually lose money. Epsecially in those one time events people just check in for free loot and drop a sub while they can and end befor they spent any real money. So amazon refuses to pay out those subs which is understandable and I think many streamers experience this what is a unspoken thing between streamers
Varsity is awesome I hope he gets his money and twitch fixes their shit
Twitch is trash
Twitch has such horrible support to streamers this is why h3h3 left twitch is awful boycott
"suspicious transaction", just ask twitch what are the reasons for the suspicion. My theory, they are trying to make the rise of subs fair for their company by not giving the money to the "small streamers".
Simple solution, if Twitch is collecting revenue from the subs then so should Varsity. Businesses aren't allowed to keep income from fraudulent purchases, it's illegal.
Yes, more videos on Twitch gamers that are getting canceled and cheated on.
How the hell did Twitch get this big yet they still handle situations like this so unprofessionally
I truly wasn't expecting this to be about vg I was expecting someone completely random
You also owe Slush money.
So would summit1g subs 40k plus he got from valorant (drops) be fraudulent? Isn't that the same thing?
Could you do a video on the current cheating problem on Destiny 2? Im sure youll get a lot of content for it
