The Vanished King of Tekken Who Returned to Conquer the World

by devaccess

Imagine having it all. Imagine being on top of the world.

Only to give it all away.

Once upon a time, Qudans was the undisputed best Tekken player in the world. And then, he vanished.

Ten years after his disappearance, Qudans came back. Some people in the scene didn’t even know who he was. Some people didn’t know how much had happened to him. How hard he worked, the tragedy he overcame.

But the people that remembered his name knew a legend had returned.

Sweet Victory at the end of the video was a nice touch.

It'll be interesting to see what Qudans will do through the rest of 2019. I know he's going to EVO this year which will be the biggest Tekken tournament in history. Will he win in this year? Only time will tell.

I like how they mentioned street fighter and MvC but disregard SNK games as well as other fighting games like Mortal Kombat. They were big back then as well.

Just pointing out the godlike read at 15:17. Knowing to duck and punishing with a Rage Art that freezes the timer with 1 second to go. Qudans is a monster.

I was going to watch it but then I realized it's the same guy that made the video about OK Signs. Disliked.

I thought he was done playing after his injury. I was so happy to see him back, kicking ass & taking names.

I was in the tekken scene since Tekken 3, but stopped playing last few years. this was an amazing nostalgia trip. I remember first reading about this guy on gamefaqs forums back in the day, and managed to get some grainy footage from mirc chat rooms. amazing to see him back, fuck yeah.

If this was turned into anime I would definitely watch it…. Its got everything, past glory, responsibilities halting him, emotional trauma and rising to the top after a decade with hard work and dedication. LOVE IT.
