We’ve seen everything from broken champions that can kill you without breaking a sweat to busted items that change the landscape of the game for extended periods of time and even strats that make the game extremely boring to watch and play.
So we thought it’d be fun to take a trip down memory lane and look at the times that the meta was at its worst, through rose colored glasses. Here are the Top 10 Worst League Metas.

Botlane mages effectively killed my love for the game. Jesus that was tragic
Lol is in a decent spot balance-wise now, but there have pretty much consistently been broken metas otherwise. There was seriously like a 6 year span where some item was a must buy on over 50% of viable picks (and there weren't many viable picks as a result). Cleaver was nerfed in like 10 days, but then we have to think about things like feral flare ( a season), atmogs(like a year or something), banner of command (season), sunfire/frozen fist (season and a half or something), and like 2 years of busted botrk, among many others.

Meta ap carrys , and adc with supports , rekkles drop the game for 2 months

The Adc meta or ardent meta whatever is the most painful for me as an assassin player I cant even one shot an adc that time I hated janna lulu and Karma so much that I have to switch roles just to climb by the time the assassin changes comes I cant say how happy I am to one shot both the adc and support now "adc in 2k17 lul"
Double jungle is pretty much dota meta

I like this host better than the others. His voice isn't boring (there are so many monotonous hosts on this channel) his intonations sound natural and not forced, and he doesn't make bad jokes

so we just gonna forget about the banner of command and assassin meta's. does nobody else remember the lethality meta where literally everyone had to build duskblade? the dark harvest meta where the team with the most dark harvest champs won? but nah lets include the alpha stage
I don’t see how you can call the League meta comparatively good when tank top, mage mid, bruiser jungle and adc/support bottom is one of the most boring metas to ever exist.and has been League’s defining formation since season 2.
And really? Gold funnelling sucked? It’s probably the most varied that League’s one dimensional meta has ever been.

ok, Juggernaut Meta was the worst…. because "I cant get out of Diamond III" Balls got a pentakill on it (I wrote that before I saw it)…
But aside from that Game Of Thrones Season 8 Dont Ever do that again Patch:
The worst has been funnel, because… Faker played Braum with Smite on Midlane… dont ever do that again.
After that… How is Ardent Censer (Meaning the Support can build a meaningfull item, but its broken) worse then the Supports cant Build Shit (Full Build: 5 Pinks, 5 Normal Wards) meta? Back in the "Buy fukking wards" Meta, no one wanted to play Sup, in the Ardent Censer Meta you felt really strong in that role for the first time… Like a real Champion. Lets condemn that, Supports aint supposed to feel strong…

League is a well balanced game?? Are you shitting me?? Riot is absolute shit at balancing, they have never found a period of time at least up til when I stopped playing in 2015 where you could say that something WASN"T broken. Season 2 was probably the last season where things were decently balanced.
Everytime Riot introduces a new character, its either going to be broken as hell or absolutely useless. If its useless you can bet your ass that they would buff it til it became broken. Every item that gets introduced is the same too. Character reworks were jokes where you could never be sure how broken a champion would be after it

I watched a competitive game of League once and the kills were like 3-1 after 25 minutes. That's when I knew I was never going to play it lmao

Ardent Censer meta was awesome for ADC and Support players. Even healing and shielding junglers were good too cuz they could get Ardent. #revertardent
