Maybe you don’t know about one of North America’s most prolific League of Legends talents. But you don’t need to recognize his name or know what team he plays for because he’s a superstar in the truest sense. And we all know what that looks like.
This is the story of one player, trying to be the best, the long path that stood before him, and the light and the darkness along the way.
This is Doublelift’s Story.

I'm not crying…you're crying.
i hate Doublelift, but he's n amazing ADC since Years.
oh no
Lessons learned??? U cant win without a full asian team… u need a full squad of asians to beat asians… lol.. anyway.. dl never gave up and still going.. thats the moral of the story.. never give up
See u at MSI 2019 DL.
Just watching the recent LCS spring finals and listening to 8:19 really shows how this mindset of Doublelift has never changed.
damn i really want him to get out of groups…hes literally earned it more than anyone :(((
Now you gotta make another anime story for double lift since they won lcs
Yo I feel like if u do ad carries, u can’t miss UZI. Even he’s not doing well this year, u can’t miss him,
Trash
?
brTT >> Doublelift
Brtt > DoubleLift
This video is beautiful, one of the best I've ever watched.
Seeing the queue pop at 19:57 on the old client made me really miss it. The new client makes me feel like I’m back in 2008 on windows xp
I was at Spring 2018 Finals as a 100T fan. But seeing Doublelift crush after such a devastating event in his life was a testament of his dedication to his fans and the sport. I've never been a fan of him, but I can't disrespect him. Dude's a living legend.
The intro music should be better
You will thank me later 5:10
Story of Marin please
woah, I had no fucking idea his mom and dad had been attacked by their own older son, resulting in his mother's death
fucking hell man
What is that commentary at 4:50
Please do CSGO History of G2 Esports!
Clearly Americans lacks team work so much they can't make it past the first round… stick to basketball, don't need teammates for that.
I've never paid attention to doublelift outside of his trash talking and now his story has compelled me to say that I hope they win worlds this year. As a C9 fan I was upset when we lost Jensen because he was the anchor to our worlds run last year. With him and an incredible bot lane I hope they go all the way to cement doublelifts legacy on the game.
Clear favorites? Someone hasn't been watching TSM this split
This is the first time I saw Travis Gafford without his beard
That Jinx pentakill against TSM still haunts me every day.
This is a guy who went from having nothing to letting his talents flourish then building a mature character
If this personal growth isn't touching, I don't know what is
story of chovy next!
This video really doesn't manage to put the focus on Doublelift properly. It's mostly about his teams' performance. And paints him in an almost entirely positive light, when in actuality he was probably the most divisive figure in League for most of his early career.
I don't think there is any western ADC more successful than DL
12:30 I remember this moment so well because me and my friends could not believe that could ever happen. When the notification and reddit post came up, all I could think of as this would have to be the best joke collaboration of all time. But, when he threw his CLG Jersey into the trash, well, I knew it wasn't a joke anymore.
im just waiting when NA is going to step up and win a international world champion.
The GOAT
Ive never been a fan of personalities like doublelift the cocky, one minded, arrogant person that he is annoys me but I will admit to the fact that as an ade main I do look up to him and like his play style. So as much as I cant stand to see his face or hear his voice I just watch him play on mute and thats good enough
I’ve gotta say I’ve always disliked doublelift imo he always talked thrash and never really backed it up. Being dominant in your domestic region isn’t that important anymore.
But the video showed me how he had to fight for everything and It clearly changed my mind.
any other grown ass men crying?
Like a lot of other people here i've been in and out of League since early on (s2), but I never stopped watching streams or content on youtube. It's still mY dReAm to be in the LCS one day. I'm 24 and was plat in s4, but now I'm hard stuck silver. I guess in my old age, I can't keep up.
“Patience Information"…. OMG broke my heart
