Team Vitality has made an announcement that is sure to check the Counter-Strike world: they are going separate ways with Dupreeh.
Team Vitality has released a series of tweets and a blog post detailing their decision. Recognizing Dupreeh’s vital contributions to their success in CS:GO during his almost two years with the organization, Team Vitality feels they need to begin cultivating the next generation of Team Vitality Counter-Strike champions. As such, Dupreeh is no longer on the active roster. With CS:GO Esports at its end and Counter-Stike 2 Esports about to begin, it’s a fitting time for a passing of the torch.
The 30-year-old Dupreeh is the most decorated CS:GO pro in history. Having attended all 19 majors in CS:GO Esports and winning 5, his accomplishments within CS:GO are without rival. Fittingly enough, his 5th major win was the last major in CS:GO Esports, the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 with a 2-0 victory over GamerLegion.
My 5th major won with Vitality was special. Thanks ✌🏼
I dont feel we had come to the end of the road with the current team, but I respect Vitality´s decision and wish them the best.
I still feel I am on the top of my game and will spend my time figuring out what’s up next

Immediately following up on their belief in the need to cultivate a new generation of talent, Team Vitality simultaneously announced the signing of rising CS:GO star Shahar “flameZ” Shushan. After spending more than two years with OG Esports, flameZ will begin his Counter-Strike 2 career as a member of Team Vitality.
