After the grand finale finish in the Mid Season Invitational 2019. Team Liquid started their campaign against TSM in the NA LCS Summer Split 2019. It was expected that the side might lose, since they had little to no training in the last two weeks. Yet they silenced their critics after demolishing TSM in less than 30 minutes of play.

After defeating his former team, the AD carry of Liquid, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng revealed that: He and his teammates were burnt out after the MSI and didn’t train at all. Yet they still had the a good start to the summer season.

TSM nowhere to be found

Liquid outclassed its opponent from the first minute and applied constant pressure to all the lanes with quick rotations. The jungler of the team, Jake “Xmithie” Puchero wreak havoc for TSM in the mid and bot, so the team had to spent most of its’ resources on wards to contain him. In the meantime, top laner Jung “Impact” Eon-yeong took advantage of the space created and for the most out of his lane.

Before the start of the game, the NA LCS community was intrigued to watch the bot lane of TSM. Since the duo played horribly in the Spring Split finals so it was an opportunity to redeem itself. But unfortunately, Liquid took nothing for granted and annihilated them. After securing the laning phase the side just snowballed to victory.

It is great to see Liquid getting back to its winning ways after a somewhat embarrassing lose in the finale of MSI. Their domination against the runner-ups of last season shows that the team has learned a lot from its endeavours of Malaysia. Liquid will return to the LCS action later today and will take on Echo Fox.

Rick Fox is staying!

Speaking of the foxes, the founder of the organization, Rick Fox said he would not leave the organization after the racist scandal. In the new issue of The GG Podcast, he noted that he has decided to fight against manifestations of intolerance in the club.

On April 25, the Dexerto portal announced that the founder of Echo Fox, former professional basketball player Rick Fox, was about to leave the organization . This information appeared after a skirmish between the former general director of the club, James Holl and an unnamed investor in the team.

On May 15, the LCS commission gave Echo Fox 60 days to resolve the conflict and threatened with official sanctions . On May 17, the organization promised to abandon the investor in the near future.

Lastly, the carry of Team Liquid, Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng, appeared in comic commercials dedicated to the start of the summer season LCS 2019. In the video, he first talked about how important it is to properly dispose of garbage, after which he took the trash can and threw the T-shirts of LCS participants. Team Liquid became the champion of the spring split LCS Spring Split 2019 . The summer season started on the 1st of June.
