Event organiser Super League Gaming has announced a partnership with Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus.
The deal will see OnePlus act as the official smartphone sponsor of the PUBG MOBILE North American Super League for the 2019-2020 season.

Super League Gaming’s PUBG MOBILE North American Super League utilises a city-based system, featuring quarterly ‘city champs’ tournaments. The 16 cities participating in the league are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa Bay, and Washington, D.C.
Kyle Kiang, Chief Marketing Officer at OnePlus discussed the deal in a release: “Super League offers direct access to a key customer base for OnePlus and provides a perfect complement to our professional esports partnerships. Many of our customers are PUBG Mobile gamers so we work hard to make sure all of our devices, including the latest OnePlus 7T phone, deliver the best possible gameplay experience.”

Our social gameplay nights exemplify a shared commitment to positive and inclusive gameplay, while City Champs will feature top PUBG Mobile players in each major market, ensuring vibrant competition throughout our 2019-2020 Season.”
In January, Fnatic announced a global partnership with OnePlus – following on from an ongoing relationship that the parties started in 2017.
Esports Insider says: OnePlus are no strangers to esports, always finding opportunities to activate the brand and its latest products in the mobile esports space. Super League Gaming launching the first city based PUBG Mobile league in North America with the support of OnePlus will kick things off to a strong 2020.
