The Week 4 qualifiers for the Fortnite World Cup ended this weekend. Some of the streamers displayed impressive performances compared to the past weeks. They almost qualified for the World Cup which is far better than failing in the last phase. On the other hand, some top names like Jake “POACH” Brumleve of Team Liquid and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins were unable to get into the top,1,000.
No love for Ninja
In the duos qualifiers, Reverse2k and Ninja almost made it to the finals since they performed quite well early. Yet, surprisingly their form declined at the end. They got 75 points on the board, which enabled them to squeeze into the top 15. Yet the duo lacked 10 points to secure a slot in the North America Western Qualifiers. The roster of Liquid, Ryan “Chap” Chaplo and POACH finished at 12th place with 75 points, owing to the tie-breaker regulations of the qualifiers.

Tfue just missing out on the finals
Among the streamers, we believe that the FaZe Clan duo, Dennis “Cloak” Lepore and Turner “Tfue” Tenney displayed the most impressive performances. They got 82 to show for their hard work over the weekend, yet they still lacked three points to get their ticket for the finals. We have to say that they were perfectly balanced in their style of play which was a mixture of both survival and aggression. Since they got 42 points due to placements and 40 points from the kills. Tfue just needs to get three more points on the next weekend. He will among the few players who will be competing in both solo and duos of the World Cup finals.
Meanwhile, another renowned streamer, Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff declined in his performance from the past weeks. He and his duo partner, NioRooch were ranked 60th after securing 62 points, it was not enough since they required 90 points to secure qualification. Meanwhile, another talented player, Ali “SypherPK” Hassan got 57 points and was placed at 57th place.

Who will shine?
Compared to the streamers in the West, the Eastern players are closer to securing qualification spot in the next weekend. The only streamer that we believe will get to the qualifiers is Tfue. Yet we will not count out the best streamers since this is only week 4 and they still have time to get their act together. Judging from the past week, it seems like Ninja and co have finally adopted the meta. The next week, they will have to re-evaluate their strategies, since we will be getting the ninth season in a couple of the day. It will change the looting spots and might very nerf and buff some of the weapons of the game.
There is a 50/50 chance that these streamers might get everything right or they might just end up performing poorly. Since we can guarantee you that we will surely see some of them struggle. They will have a few days to prepare themselves for the qualifiers in the new season. We wish them luck in their endeavors.
The Fortnite World Cup Finals will take place in season nine from July 26-28.
