StarLadder relaxes roster rules before StarLadder Berlin Major » TalkEsport

by Malav Popat

StarLadder, the organizers of the CS: GO Berlin Major have relaxed their rules regarding rosters ahead of the Minor.

This rule, allows teams to field their coach at the Major or the Minor instead of a player in any case. Earlier, the teams would be allowed to use their coach only if one of the players was held up in an emergency such as; visa issues, health-related issues. However, the change made will be permanent and the player in the active lineup will not be able to return and play the Major with the team.

An email was sent to all the team attending the Minor and the Major about the same. The email has been acquired by HLTV.org who reported the news first.

MiBR will hugely benefit from this change. After MiBR not wanting coldzera to play at the Major, they learned that their coach would not be able to fill up his spot at the Major. However, this update permits zews to replace coldzera at the Major.
