Let’s have a look at the teams that qualified for the Major.
TNC are back
The last Major of the event is all set to take place on 22nd June. With more than a month remaining, the qualifiers of the competition are keeping the fans glued to their screens. Since all the teams are fighting tooth and nail to qualify for the last competition of the 2018-2019 season. It is also the last opportunity for the teams to fight for the TI9 direct invites. In the SEA region, the top spot was surprisingly claimed by TNC Predator who beat Mineski BOOM ID and Fnatic. In the regional qualifiers, TNC dropped only one game to Geek Fam. So other candidates will have to fight for the 2nd spot that will be contested later today.
It looks like the tactics of the new coach, Lee ‘Heen’ Seung Gon are working well for the team. They will be aiming to show similar results in the EPICENTER to make a last fight for the elusive TI9 spot.

The China surprise
We believe that the Chinese region is the toughest region at the moments with so many talented teams. The regions hosts, EHOME, Keen Gaming, PSG.LGD and Vici Gaming. So it is hard to see any other team qualifying for the Majorz and the Minors. Yet in the group stage of EPICENTER qualifiers some new candidates have emerged from the depths. Royal Never Give Up and Newbee made an exciting run in the first phase of the regional qualifiers. Yet PSG.LGD was in hot form and claimed the first spot in the group. So they are the first team to qualify for the Russian Major, while the final two spots will be settled later today. It will be exciting to see that whether or not Newbee has what it takes to qualify for the EPICENTER.
EHOME surprisingly had a poor showing in the qualifiers, the side included Zhang ‘Faith_bian’ Ruida. Yet they lost almost every single game of the group stage. We believe that despite this poor run in the Major qualifiers, EHOME is capable of qualifying through the StarLadder Minor.

paiN Gaming take over SA
PaiN Gaming is looking like they are ready to take on the best teams in the world with its new roster. The reformed side managed to get to the Main Event of the MDL Disneyland® Paris Major. Yet they were amongst the first teams to get eliminated and only got 150 DPC points for their poor performance. It seems like the side has learned from its mistakes they reigned supreme in the group stage of SA qualifiers. Their form was quite synonymous to the impressive run of Forward Gaming in NA. Yet both team will need to display their best performances of the season to make make it to the top 6 in EPICENTER. Since it will be the only result that could possibly land the two in the top 12 of the DPC rankings.
