Reports suggest that Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok is closing in on a move to Entity

Ukrainian Dota player Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok is rumored to join the Western European team Entity as their new offlaner. This report comes from the portal Metaratings, which cites its own sources.

Resolut1on left Team Secret in March, 2023 after a seven-month stint at the club. The Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2023 Tour 1: Division I season proved to be a tough one for Team Secret, resulting in their relegation to Division II. Struggling to perform against the top teams in the world, the team suffered a total of five 2-0 losses. As a result, Secret’s roster came under scrutiny and Resolut1on left the team. The 26-year-old announced his free agency during a Twitch stream.

After a brief period as a stand-in, Resolut1on officially joined Secret in August 2022, providing captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov with a renewed sense of confidence in the team’s potential. Prior to Resolut1on’s inclusion, the squad had faced challenges in delivering strong performances. However, they showcased improvement by securing a respectable third-fourth place finish at the Riyadh Masters 2022, with a notable achievement being their triumph over PSG.LGD in a series. They would make the TI11 Grand Final afterward, but lost 3-0 to Tundra.

Resolut1on played as Team Betboom’s stand-in offlaner most recently at the Berlin Major 2023, after Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko dropped out of the competition because of visa complications. He, however, could not help the Russian squad progress beyond the group stage.

Entity finished sixth in DPC WEU Tour 3 Division I to hold on to their top-flight status. They want to bolster their roster before the next tour begins to achieve a higher finish.

  • Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov
  • Daniel “Stormstormer” Schoetzau
  • Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok

  • Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk
