Report: Virtus.pro under consideration of building an International CS:GO squad » TalkEsport

by Souhit Dey

According to Dekay from dexerto, Virtus.pro the Russian organization is under consideration of creating an International CS:GO team.

The current lineup of Virtus.pro is entirely a Polish one but according to mentioned sources, Virtus.pro management has been actively contacting pros from different countries. The last noted non-Polish recruitment for Virtus.pro was way back in 2013 which included the likes of FaZe Clan AWPer Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács and HellRaisers in-game leader Kirill “ANGE1” Karasov.

Virtus.pro made its name with its lineup which won a CS:GO Major in 2014. The legendary Major winning lineup included Filip “NEO” Kubski, Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski, Paweł “byali” Bieliński, and Jarosław “pashaBiceps” Jarząbkowski. Currently Snax is the only one who remains under Virtus.pro team banner today from the old lineup.Paragraph

After parting ways with its Major winning lineup, Virtus.pro has failed to perform well or make any significant achievement in the International scene. The current Virtus.pro squad only managed a 3rd-4th place finish at Moche XL Esports 2019 and Good Game League 2019 but failed to qualify for the Berlin Major after losing to BIG in the closed qualifiers for the Major.
