Canadian musician and rapper Aubrey Drake Graham has signed a multi-year broadcasting partnership with livestreaming platform Caffeine. The announcement stated the artist would use Caffeine to produce and curate content, including a co-produced series with Ultimate Rap League (URL), which was previously distributed on YouTube. Financial terms were not disclosed, nor were details regarding future content.

Caffeine was founded by Ben Keighran, a former product designer at Apple, and received a $100M investment from 21st Century Fox in 2018. Gaming is a central part of Caffeine’s programming content, with broadcasting deals currently in place with the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) and DreamHack

Drake’s partnership follows similar deals with rapper Kiara Kendrell “Offset” Cephus, and NFL player John Sherman “JuJu” Smith-Schuster, who both stream games on Caffeine. Drake, who is also a co-owner of esports team 100 Thieves, broke a Twitch record in 2018 after playing Fortnite with Tyler “Ninja” Blevins
