The Broncos enter this game as relatively strong favorites at -5.5 (-110) with bet365. That is a good-sized spread for an NFL preseason game. One factor is that LA’s defense hasn’t been strong during the preseason. Then again, Denver has not really scored that much in two games.
Denver only really has one QB that they can rely on for offense. That’s Russell Wilson. Despite a bad season last year, he is still a major player in these NFL preseason games. But, like any preseason game, you just can’t count on the starters going tape to tape.
LA themselves don’t really have a quarterback that they can count on. Even Matthew Stafford is a shaky QB to be betting on at this point, following his poor season last season.

Denver will likely win this game. The prospects of them covering a -5.5 spread are difficult to evaluate. Of course, they could do it based on the size of the spreads that LA has lost by so far (the Rams are -17 in each game so far). But you have to feel safer in going for just a moneyline bet in this ambiguous game.
My recommendation is to take Denver straight up at -220 (bet365) on the moneyline. For a parlay option, go with the Jacksonville Jaguars in a game from earlier in the day. They are at -260. A double for the two games works out to +100, or EVEN odds.
